Good movie about maybe a event like...Nuclear Warfare or some crap

yeah, zombies are cool but they are all the same, military sucks - people die. But anyone know of any movie that has to do with maybe nuclear warfare, I like it if it had some military action in it, a catastrophic event that could actually happen.

I've searched around, couldn't find anything I liked. I would prefer to watch it phr33
