Good site idea?

Came up with an idea for a site... not sure if it would be good though, which is why im asking input from you guys...

So my idea is a site... similar movies...
So you would type in the name of a movie, and you would get a list of similar movies. There is only 1 site like this, called tastekid.com but it runs of an engine that finds the results... mine would be community driven.
All entries would be added by people. It would also be up to the people vote for the similarity. Of course there would be other stuff like more voting, comments, etc...

So do you guys think this would be a good idea, or would go to waste?

Pretty nice idea. I'd go for it since it lacks competition, and it would attract people.

Good idea but very hard to pull off. Would require you investing, and spending lots of time making sure this is perfect for search engines to look at. Furthermore, you would need to spend lots of time advertising this.

i rekon thats a great idea, i have looked for a site like this, i think you should go through with it
