Today is comedian Lucille Ball’s 100th birthday, and to commemorate the occasion, there’s an interactive Google Doodle for your viewing pleasure.
If you don’t recognize that boxy device in the picture above, that’s what TVs used to look like back in the ’50s and ’60s, and if you go to Google.com, click on that TV’s channel changing knob and you can watch your choice of seven of the funniest and most memorable clips from the vintage TV hit I Love Lucy.
My favorite, the chocolate factory conveyor belt where Lucy can’t quite keep up, is the best of the bunch, and even though I’ve seen it hundreds of times it still makes me laugh every time.
