Gravedigging

I really dislike the fact that a post only counts as gravedigging if it surpasses 3 months. That's absurd, in my opinion. I think 30 days is just fine, incase it is a hot thread then anyone can post on it.

It's ridiculous how people post on 1-2 month old threads and we can't do anything about it.

Yea. IMO, it should be like 15 days unless its a hot thread. 15 days is plenty. Means people have dropped it, moved on. Deff needs to be bumped back @Philly

I really agree with this. It's also at points disappointing on the 'View New Threads' when you see something interesting that looks good and it turns out to be 100 years old.

Agreed.

I also suggest adding a warning on the bottom of threads that have a last post date of 30+ days.

I think that 2 months is about right. 1 month seems a little bit short Michael.

I agree with this aswell @Michael. It's annoying to see new members post on it just to get their post count up. The majority of that happening is because of the thread being 1-3 months old.

It depends on the subject, but I'd prefer it be no shorter. Why limit the amount of topics to post in so much?

I completely agree, I hate when threads which offer a service get gravedigged even though the member is banned or no longer goes on the website. If people don't comment on the post for a month, it's probably just better to make a new thread anyway.

Yea i agree maybe there is something they can do when a thread goes without a post within a month it gets deleted or something.

Only with sales threads is this a real problem, most topic discussion threads are still relevant a month or two after their post date.

I agree with this idea and @"Chill"'s suggestion.

I feel like this should only be considered in the Marketplace.

Great Idea @Michael

I agree with @Jarrett
This should only be a rule in the marketplace.
