Group Leader Notice Notifications [Suggestion]

If you're a group owner, you've had your fair share of users who like to apply within the Group Memberships page & once they've been declined they immediately send another request... Well I'd like to maybe some day see something implemented into the "Edit Options" section. Or the "Alert Settings" section to where I can completely hide this obnoxious red pop-up bar that ceases to disappear from spammers.

I'm not sure how difficult it would be, but it would be nice to have a simple:
"Receive Group Application Alerts" section that I can simply check-off which would disable that obnoxious bar that can't go away until I've physically declined or approved the user(s).

I would much rather just check back every day or so & see for myself if some idiot tried to apply within the group memberships page. Mostly all the current groups are private or invite-only to begin with...​

This^ makes me want to chug gasoline & throw a match down my esophagus.

Let me know your thoughts. Whether they're a simple: "No." or not.
I've also created a Poll to maybe help reach a decision quicker.

I think a better solution would be that if a user is denied from applying via UCP, they should not be allowed to reapply within 48 hours.
But I do agree that the obnoxious red bar should be removed or replaced with something more subtle.

I would like to see a REAL blacklist. Of course every group blacklists members, but why not officially? Like in the UserCP you can click "Blacklist a User", and add people. This would not allow them to see your group through the UserCP, therefore will not be able to apply. Or it would replace "Join Group" with red text that says "Blacklisted". I think that would be a really good idea.

myBB has some pretty decent plugins. But yeah, it wouldn't be impossible. It just wouldn't be easy.

Honestly, the suggestion of banning certain members from applying via usercp would be great. Much easier to implement I would think, and would work just as well.
