I was actually going to write this is my aforementioned post, not sure if this is true but I'm sure Philly can move/junk posts without those deleted being removed from the users post count.Cann!bal said:I would advocate this.
Though while groups ending are in relevancy, I think it's very annoying and discouraging to see my post count drop a bunch each time a group I'm active in ends. There should be a separate section for junked posts that go towards your post count.
Well, when I was staff there was no way for me to junk posts without decreasing their post count. I only had one option. And, I recall multiple times I've had to junk something that had merit and didn't deserve to be removed from their count.Chill said:I was actually going to write this is my aforementioned post, not sure if this is true but I'm sure Philly can move/junk posts without those deleted being removed from the users post count.
Well @Fear Junked something of mine the other day and I never lost any posts, so I have no idea.Cann!bal said:Well, when I was staff there was no way for me to junk posts without decreasing their post count. Chill said:Bro you've lost me, I have absolutely no idea where the hell that is, nor can I see that anywhere in my group sub-forum on any post or thread.
Philly said:Group owners have the soft delete option, which essentially is the same thing as junk in a way. You just select what threads/posts you desire being removed hit soft delete and you and everyone besides me will never see the post again. It literally is two clicks, I am unsure of anyway of making it more efficient than that. It even allows group owners the option to keep some threads if they do not want them all removed, but I see no point in me deleting everything for the group owner as they have the same abilities to soft delete threads as I do. I do not delete posts, ever. So I would just be doing the same thing as the group owner could do, it is in the moderation options on the bottom right of each thread located in the groups sub forum.
Only the group owner may have the moderation privileges within group sub forums.Kowai said:Since I'm co-leader of Love, how come I can't delete or sticky threads in the sub-forum? Is that only an ownership power?

Some if not most of the moderation tools say I don't have permission to use them also.
Well I have no idea where this option is, I try to Junk them and I'm not allowed, that's the only option I'm given to fully remove these threads.Philly said:Group owners have the soft delete option, which essentially is the same thing as junk in a way. I want this added too. I've thousands of posts from group section that are in junk section and don't count towards my posts. It's annoying enough to see the dedicated postsgo wasted. I have suggested it before too.Chill said:This is only to make the groups clean, if I buy a group it will have everyone's previous posts. As a group owner I'd want a fresh start.
Now I know Philly is re-implementing Power+ members to have the junk feature, but if you aren't even Power+ and own a group I'd like this to still be available to those members.
I used the soft delete feature and it removed a few hundred of my posts. Still, the group is clean but removing genuine posts... hmm.Jimmy said:I want this added too. Soft delete basically unapproves the post so it reduces the count as well.Chill said:I used the soft delete feature and it removed a few hundred of my posts. Still, the group is clean but removing genuine posts... hmm.
