Group Question.

Why do Some groups have requirements on Reputation Points and Post Count? I understand groups having requirements on Kudos, Online Time etc but why Rep and Posts? In my opinion these are the things that don't matter at all.

usually post count is to show you're dedicated to the forum.. like a person with 5k will have interacted more than a person with 12 posts. same with rep..

You would have to ask the group leaders. In my opinion posts/rep show that you're dedicated to the forum.

I think registration date/time online would make the most sense for "dedication". Personally I don't like to post unless I actually can provide a HQ response, and I don't care for making online friends so my reputation is also void. Post count/reputation is a very flawed way to judge a user of the site.

The only requirements I understand are post count, and post time. They show activity on the forum, and how much you're on.
Never really seen anything about kudos, but that'd be a lame requirement. People troll and get a shit load of kudos, they don't really mean anything. And reputation here doesn't really mean anything here either..
Honestly, I think they should just look at people's application and if the user sticks to what they say, keep them. Pretty sure lower members have quite a bit of potential themselves.
