I do see what you mean, seeing as how I'm not upgraded either, but some form of this may be a good idea. Maybe not exactly how he had said it, but the idea in itself is good.

Well, I'd support that. I mean, it isn't doing any damage and if an upgraded member wants to be secure about there tag or some shit, they could post it there.

I can see the logic behind your suggestion, but you you may have over looked one key-factor. If the 'gamertag' section was to be visible to upgraded members' only; those members' would begin to lose business as normal members' would not be able to see what the upgraded member was selling. Thus making the product less available, and thus resulting in a lose of business for upgraded members'... which would most likely make 'upgrading' less desirable.

He's suggesting that we have another individual gamertag section for upgraded members only. The regular gamertag will still be visible to everyone.

Lol this is a fucking stupid idea. In the OP, He stated that an 'Upgraded GT Section' would stop turboers, Yet whoever turbos tags will just upgrade so he or she can turbo the good tags.

two different GT sections would be pretty cool but i feel that upgraded members would advertise their GT's in the non-upgraded section anyway because newbies spend more, or will have some sick tags that we've not seen before to trade.

so i dont know. from one point of view, it's a good idea, from the other, it's pointless.

To members complaining about getting "turboed", if you really want your gamertag, don't change it and allow any xbox live user to claim it. You're knowingly risking not being able to claim the gamertag again. I don't feel too much sympathy most of the time since most of you attempt to do this too soon after getting the gamertag.
Also I sure as hell wouldn't want to waste my time on this site if you had to upgrade to post in the gamertag section, which the majority of us joined for in the first place. All of the members that wouldn't be able to post in the gamertag section would probably just leave and head over to hf where there are clearly more members. I kind of see why upgraded members that think they're hardasses would want this but it would make this site crash and burn.

I think its a good idea but not upgraded only members maybe make them require a certain post count to access the section pretty sure you can get a plugin made or find one for this idea.
