GUIDE FOR UBUNTU
1>So here is a guide hw to make it user friendly and easy to use..
Download OR Order free Cd from Ubuntu 10.04 website

2>Use the installation..for simple installation use install inside windows..
Caution:I AM NOT RECOMMENDING TO USE THIS AS ITS NOT SO FASTER,Reliable and has reduced performance than fresh copy.
ITS NOT THAT U R GOING TO MESS AROUND WITH INSTALL INSIDE WINDOWS
Just try it for once
3>After installation u will get to the first and very workspace of ubuntu.
FOR appearances u will go to Properties and add extra effects(includes wobble effect and zoom effect)
For compiz manager go to terminal and type

sudo apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager compiz-fusion-plugins-extra compiz-fusion-plugins-main compiz-plugins emerald

This will give u a large no of plugins for compiz and emerald theme manager.
JUST FOR THE SAKE OF BASIC TUTORIAL I AM NOT Explaining COMPIZ configuration in this edition..
4>Now for the software part-->
Go to applications>ubuntu Software Center
there u can add vlc-Movies and multimedia player),
(Note that the ibuilt media player is also cool)
Cheese->for webcam(really cool piece)
Adobe pdf 9,Adobe flash player,
Avant Navigator bar(best dock bar ever present)
Gnomeip messenger(similar to windows) but much better as it also displays ip address of host
nfo viewer-to view .nfo files
Chat client is EMPATHY -BEST client as it supports each and every chat cliet ever made....
U can also use PIDGIN and gtalk is also there
(plz note CHAT client Empathy can work for facebook,gtalk everything..)
U CAN ALSO GET INSTALLER FOR VARIOUS SOFTARES(.deb extension)

Adobe Reader from adobe.com and many more
Millions of application are there u can Install all u want
Rhythembox (inbult and u will love this music player)...
5>What abt antivirus????There is no need at all as ubuntu has 1-2 viruses made that too are rare and .exe file dont work
(NOTE-exept wine(BEST),crossover and
Cedega, which is more for games
play on linux, which is also for games
crossover which you need to pay for)
But if u want u can get Avast and bitdefender,(kaspersky in beta stages(Source:friend)
6>Games--Thousands of game available at the software center...but some of the best are
Quake3 (open arena),assault cube.
These are present at software center..there are many more but i tried 3 games only..
7>After reading this much u must hav thought what abt .exe file softwares???
So for that u will use a software WINE(will tell u more abt it in Guide 3)
But for basic u can install it by goin in terminal and writing-->

sudo get-apt install wine1.2
