So... my orders to be deployed were delayed. Which means a few things for me actually:

-I won't have Leave again for a long ass time.
-I won't see my girl for a longg ass time
-Instead of the 4 month deployment I was supposed to have, it'll be a full 9+, extended (?)
-Communication will be limited. Very limited. 

This girl I have, is basically perfect. Thing is, after my previous relationship, I still haven't really let whatever "love" is into my well being, despite all she does. But what I'm wondering is if you guys think I should keep this relationship, end it myself, or see how she takes my deployment? I do care about her, and losing her would hurt, but I'm not sure if I want to risk the pain of losing her if she leaves me due to the distance.

In all sincerity and honesty, and please don't take this the wrong way but, leave her, this happens all the time, but goingvthrough the pain of thinking about her everyday while on deployment and the slight chance she could have an affair with someone else, that would eat me alive, so like I said, in all honesty leave her, it will take the weight off your shoulders and if it does happen (not saying it will) just message me, im here for you man.

9+ momths, as a test? Don't you think thats a bit to much, that would be a pretty hard pill for her to swallow and not being able to see you for 9 possibly more months.

Then again, what if she loves you? She could stay for all you know and you could ruin it by leaving her... Sit down and talk to her about it man, it would be the best thing to do. If she stays, there is your sign, if she doesn't, then so be it. You'll know if she is worth it.

I absolutely love what you just said, and trust me I did take that into consideration, and yes, I completely agree with sitting down with her and talking things out, make sense of everything and lay down some deadlines.

Man I've watched so many movies and basically...If she loves you she will stay, when you get back home and shes just waiting for you like a dog that hasn't seen you in a year and excited to see you I think that's the girl you should keep.
