Well,

I am wondering what you guys opinion is on it.
I think it has to do with crime.
The black people, or people with a color in general has been placed down the "ranking list" where whites were the number ones.
It's still visible, but around ~1960 it was way worse.
Due massive changes by Martin Luther King it was getting changed, more and more.
Due the massive racism around the sixties, loads of black people lived in the ghettos.
All the ghettos are poor, and you was black.
As a black man, it was horrible to gain work, it still is hard.
So how did they got bread for their family?
Stealing.
They didn't had a single choice, other then stealing.
As today we can see the impact of this, loads of black people are still workless due their color.

What is your opinion on this?
I personally think it was horrible in the sixties, but not anymore.
I have a friend, which dad is from Suriname, which used to be a dutch colony.
His dad moved her, and found a job around the 1980.
As we speak, his dad owns a villa.
How? He started op his own company.
It depends on how the person is, most black people aren't enable to find work. If you found work, even if it was low paying, you'd still have the feeling of being helpfull.
And that stimulates productivity!

His dad told me all this by the way.​

Yes. And not from a genetic standpoint, either. It's a fact that African Americans and Hispanics (at least in the US) have a much higher crime percentage than Caucasians. The answer is simple. Geography. Since most of these minorities are unfortunate enough to be born in what you would refer to as "ghettos", they have far less natural opportunities than we do. They often start small; stealing out of necessity and move their way up to murder and other serious crimes, after having succumbed to "the life". It's an epidemic and it's unfortunate that this is still an issue in our country.

Some people admit that race has nothing to do with crime. Colored people do have a higher percentage of crime though. I think colored people have had it harder because of how hard it was back in the day. If colored people hadn't been slaves and lived in good health, more wealthy families would come from this.

Just my opinion.

Yea pretty much what Carl said. Good question though. It's not intrinsic to race but it is acquired because of socio-economic problems and surroundings.

Watch the news.

Visit a prison and count heads.

That is my opinion.

I think that is just a stereotype as in a 2011 arrest race record white people got arrested 6.5 million and black people got arrest 2.7 million times. That is about a 3.5 million difference. Also the people who got arrested the least were Asians and Islanders. The reason I think this is because when people think of "crimes" they only think of muders.

Recently though, African Americans under 18 commit more crimes.

It is common knowledge that colored people make up most of the prison population, although white males are more likely to be serial killers. Another statistic I find interesting is that atheists make up less than 1% of the prison population in the US, while religious people make up the other 99%, Christians being number 1. Now who has the good morals?

The only reason colored people have a higher percentage in crime is because there are less of them in the states. (My literacy teacher told me this). White people out number black people. I'm not sure of the exact number. Most people admit that their race has nothing to do with it.

If there are 10 black people and 5 do a crime that's a 50% crime rate
100 white people five do a crime that's only a 5% crime rate

I don't agree with OP's statement that "minorities" are more prone to committing crime than whites. Many crimes by whites go unreported, the African American race holds only 49% of reported crime activity. Ok, so "only" makes it sound like I think that's not a lot, but that's still not the majority nor does it prove they are more prone to crime. Anybody is prone to crime, it depends on the environment you were raised in. Whites carry 42% of reported crimes, also keep in mind in terms of the way this is documented, Hispanics are labelled as "whites" so are a factor in this statistic. Aggravated assault crimes against blacks were reported more than against whites at a 61% and 54% difference respectively. So somewhere in the stats it (at least to me) doesn't add up perfectly, but just shows when the statistic provider even states something like, "This is just what has been reported not necessarily the entirety of it," just goes to show an individual race isn't excluded from "proneness" to crime. Everybody and anybody is perfectly capable of crime.

I believe that the government feed us blacks welfare and our ignorant asses don't use it to further ourselves in life.
Instead we want to buy the brand new jordans and have nice cars while still living in the ghetto.
I'm black and I myself have made it out of the struggle of the lower class ghetto, but my brothers are blind from the potential they have.
Us blacks could further ourselves so much but we're so caught up with "who fucking on who" and "what gang you rep".
It's just childish.

The thing about religious people in prison isn't that surprising. Atheists make up a very minute portion of America. Christians are probably the highest religious group in population. So I'm not shocked that this is so. But I hate Christians so yea.

Violent video games can actually inspire dark thoughts. This same reason partially inspired the Columbine shooting(?)

C: hang out with
People can be bad influences, and can make other people do bad acts to be part of their group. It happens a lot.

Sure that black people make up most of the prison population, but it's definitely not the race's fault. It's basically how they choose to live. Maybe a crime is inspired by rage against a person? It can be anything, but it's certainly not the race.

I agree with you on all facts.
I believe some school shooters base their "shootouts" on video games.
I saw some article about it, about some guy who used the MW2 Mission: No Russians as an example.
