Help Hiding/Changing IP

zeshin

Guest
Hey guys I've been banned from another gaming forum I regularly visit. I would like to reregister and hopefully start fresh without them tracing my banned account with the new one I will make in the future. My current IP is static and I'm on a shared internet connection with some roomates.

After searching for a program that can hide my IP my friends recommended a program called Expat Shield. Do you guys know if it can legitly mask your IP and allow you to surf sites anonymously or can it be easily detected and trace me back to my banned account?

If not do you guys know of any free programs that can change my IP and not easily detectable that I'm hiding behind a proxy. Or is the fact that I'm on a shared connection making this impossible? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

If you are only wanting to access the site, you can use a proxy. I recommed http://www.kproxy.com

If you want your computer to have a completely different IP address, use a VPN. I'd recommend OpenVPN like Hubs said. It routes all connections in and out through the VPN so you are far more hidden.

You could use www.proxify.com Lets you search use the internet anonymously.

You could also setup a VPN which I have.
I recommend StrongVPN. You can enable it by the click of a button at the top bar of your computer. It also works on mobile devices, and can be enabled in the devices settings.

Keep in mind, your internet will be a bit slower using these options. So when using these, try to use an I.P that is close to you, for the best connection performance.

So to recompile what every one said is: Primarily you got three option to hide your ip
1) Tor (Search about it. It is a very slow connection but highly anonymous and gives you new ip everytime)
2) VPN (There are lot of paid vpn available like nvpn. They are secure and your ip won't change everytime anc internet speed is usually fast)
3) Proxy change (You can find lot of proxy sites and addresses which you can use. Not that much secure and fast)

If you have money then best option is VPN. If you don't have money use free proxies.

Hope you got your question answered.
