no one can swap username if he don't know your password ..
i think the account was linked with FB .. or you're link your FB with your account and there's someone knows FB password
that's how he can log into your account with FB and swapped the user without changing anything
 

My fb is linked but no one has access to that either. No pass was involved. It's the new method. That's how my friend got @chris from Chris Messina, founder of the hashtag
