You should be happy they were willing to give you anything. You should have read the receipt like Anonymous said. They can even refuse your right to return/trade in. Just go somewhere else with your money if it is that much of an issue. It really isn't their fault you just happened to not like a game you bought. If you don't like a car, that doesn't mean that you get a full refund; you lose 20% of the value the second you leave the lot.

This was probably the first game I never tried out before buying. I felt like such an idiot.

The question is did you read the terms of service at the bottom of the receipt?
