It looks likes hackers have exploited vulnerabilities in Sony's PC gaming servers too. Today, players of SOE titles were greeted with the following message - "We have had to take the SOE service down temporarily. In the course of our investigation into the intrusion into our systems we have discovered an issue that warrants enough concern for us to take the service down effective immediately. We will provide an update later today (Monday)."
This is why you don't mess with Anonymous. They need to just reverse their decision to demand social networks to view IP's (or something along those lines) and it'll all be fixed.

No, they didn't.
Seeing as it was an intrusion, I don't think it was Anonymous. At least the core group of anonymous.
Anonymous doesn't do things like that.
Anonymous stopped attacking Sony a while back.
From the PSN outage
"No matter who did it, this action is against the Anonymous principles, so it wasn't an Anonymous attack, it just was an attack to get private data. That's not Anonymous, that's just a crime to make money."

They did so don't deny it. They hacked into PP and Microsoft. If you read any underground forums, they did it bit FBI can't get any proof that they were responsible.
