I really like it actually. I didn't the first time i looked at it, but i do after i looked at it some more. Vrery nice. Try to add a little more to it though?

I like it but you have used the same "cloud" (or whatever it is) effect in the other two images you did, the sonic one and I forgot what was the other one about.
Anyways, nice and keep it up.

The lighting in his sig is over the top left shoulder. It goes behind as it goes up the neck, but that doesn't make it wrong, as you can't see if the light was on the characters back anyway.

I do agree that the background doesn't reflect the lighting, though. I would also like to say that you should take a look at the rule of thirds. It would look kind of off in this sing, but you should try moving the render to the left or right and adding more effects.

looks good, probably needs a little more work on the lighting effects imo, and possible a glare on the sword

Version 2 looks a bit better. I really like it honestly.
I think you should put the RuneGear logo in there and smudge the swords, I think it would look beast.
