I was using a Hotmail for an Instagram Method and when I tried to send something is says I was temporarily blocked and then it says I need to give them my phone number. So, I logged out and logged back in and said I couldn't do anything. I try again and it gives me the option to give the phone number (I type 777-777-7777 and says it can't do anything). So here are my questions.
1) Will it be unblocked if I wait it out instead of giving them my phone number
2) If I need to give them my phone number is there any way to bypass it and put a fake one, receive the message, and then type in the code.
Reasons Why: I don't want to be caught (also I am using a VPN so don't worry).
