Hey RuneGear-ers,
After all the hard work that The Elite, and all of our Management Team members for their dedication and much contribution.
For those who don't know what went down, let's reiterate.
RuneGear, HaloGear, and RuneScapeForums were once three completely different forums. Due to the many attacks that RuneGear was getting by some asshole (No worries, he has been caught and is getting dealt with
), The Elite (Owner of RuneGear and HaloGear) decided to switch to a new server, which had ultimate DDOS protection.
Actually, we switched servers more than once due to the many attacks that this fantastic forum was receving by others who were jealous.
But getting back to the story, after switching servers, we needed to do something to spark up RuneGear and HaloGear.
After much downtime for thought, server switch, and even considering weather to keep RuneGear and HaloGear alive, The Elite, with plenty of hard work, joined RuneGear and HaloGear, and purchased RuneScapeForums, and added the database of RuneScapeForums to RuneGear and HaloGear.
What we have now is a fantastic forum, growing daily, with a strong and diverse community of Runescape-ers, Halo-ers, and many others.
New additions are being made everyday, such as simple usergroups, stars, subforums, and lots more to come.
So after all that, let's all thank The Elite for all his hard work.
And ofcourse, our Management team which also works behind the scenes to add new things to RuneGear. Techno, and The Elite again.
Let's think positive for an even better and stronger forum soon!
