Selling one of my laptops and I need to delete everything off the HDD. Would a simple factory restore do the trick?

Download CCleaner and under Tools you'll find driver wipe. I'm not sure how well it works but give it a shot. GL

It should do, then you've gotta delete a backup file once you've restored called old.bak or something along the lines of that, might be under a different file prefix but that's like the cached storage.

Thanks. What folder would I find that in after I factory restore it?

I'm not sure what folder it's under, just do a full computer search for it, shouldn't take too long for something to come up, it'll be a huge file though, so will take some time deleting.
