How can I speed up my internet on a public network?

How can I speed up my internet on a public network.
I dont have physical access to the router, or its control panel.
Any ideas?

their is a program you can get but il have to search for it becaus i cant remember exactly what acces you need and what its called

Yeah. Open CMD
Do ipconfig then tell me the default gateway.

There is no physical way you can all you can do is make sure that all computers on the networkare up to date.
