I'm talking about what we offer/visually/plugins etc. Obviously if we had more members it would be better, we don't need to rush that. But I'm looking for member feedback, what stuff do you want to see?

I see you added a Websites Showcase section, I like that. :)

I'd use it if my sites hadn't gotten fucked up today, the public_html directory stopped wprking in them all (they were hosted by me with a resellers account). Lol.

Yeah I learnt the hard way being hosted by my own Reseller. Invest in onshore hosting :)

I will, soon.

Yesterday I learned a method that could get me 100+ a month, proven. But I need verified Paypal account, and I can no longer verify it with a bank account from Ecuador.

Take that to the Monetizing section, that's off-topic here ;).

Ight. To actually say something useful in the thread, get the Shop plugin for New Points. :)

And maybe lower the post timer, 60 seconds is a little bit too much to wait when you have various tabs and you're waiting to post your reply.

Hi,

My first suggestion would be to give more of a variety of forums to choose from, more options would be nice.. I understand this is a market forum.. Maybe to increase members you could add a "Members Contestant" section, where as other members can offer free things or discounted things in return for referrals, like your currency system, but open to all members.

My second suggestion is to get a different skin, sorry this one is just to bright for my eyes, I'm partly nocturnal, give members the option to choose their own skin, have this one (light) and then have a generally darker toned skin for others like myself who prefer a darker colored theme.

I back that out. Even though I love this theme, some people definitely don't.

Allow bigger avatars.

100x100 looks extremely small, what about 150x150?

I'd suggest a grave digging rule.

The Introductions forum is filled with brought-back threads. Like this one: http://marketforums.org/showthread.php?tid=57&page=2.

And they've been brought back, mostly by this member: http://marketforums.org/member.php?action=profile&uid=53.

We should have that, at least in the Introduction forum. Greeting people who registered months ago doesn't seem like a legit way of earning points.

Or I could disable post count there.

Yeah, I didn't say post count should be disabled. :)

I just said there should be an established rule about grave digging, and warn users who do it. Although, closing the threads would work too.

Disabling post counts on a small board is a bad idea. IMO

Disagree. Post count should be used for sections that actually goes for proper discussions, not threads where all members do is greet each other with "howdy friendo, welcome to the forums, aye"

To me this is just a way for people to spam up their post count.

Yes some people may use it to increase post count, but if it welcomes the user and makes the new user feel comfortable within the community it's a sacrifice we can make? It's not hard for Staff to see who's spamming the section for posts anyway. It's easily moderatable. ;)
