How did you start creating graphics, if you still remember. Also how long have you been creating graphics for?

I actually started off by experimenting with GIMP, just tried helping friends get some graphics made for their site and I ended up loving it so much I went from GIMP to Photoshop. I've been designing for about a year now.

i have been designing on and off for a while now about 4 years or so. i started making graphics for a site i had previously owned and now i design for money and myself =)

I saw somebody else's work and thought it looked awesome, so I decided to take up graphics myself

I also knew this guy who made awesome sigs and well I wanted to do the same I have been on and off for about 2 years and I am still a beginner.

I asked my brother for a logo for a site I was making a few years back, and he told me to Google GIMP. I had no idea how it worked at first, but since then, I've loved graphics. Been doing them for a year or two.

Seeing others work, made me want to make my own work. I like being unique on forums so i figured graphic designing would allow me to be different, i can put my creative talent into something i like. Graphic designing, which is very fun. Though, i started off with just simple gradients & brushes, i've gotten far better. I've been designing for about a year and a half now; still i have much to learn.

i haven't yet started ,just carrying on with some image mixing and texts adding plus using some more options like blur,select etc.

Hope i ll learn much from this forum

I wanted to make a website but didn't want to pay for the template or use any of the ones I found online!

I also found that forum competitions were a good opportunity to win cash or similarly related things... so GFX became a hobby!

I started because someone made me a signature banner and I decided I wanted to be able to make them myself.

On and off I've been designing for around 12 years..
