How do I change email linked with xbox account?

I'm am pretty sure you can change it in your Xbox.

You have to recover the profile on your console, wait 30 days, and then somewhere in account management there's an option for changing this.

how come you cant change it through hotmail.com?

Gives me an error, I think it has been changed recently so I'll have to wait.
