How do people make cash off flipping?

when i used to flip (agess ago)
i did mainly, black masks, ring (archer, beserker), barrows sets

Try and flip with a 1-10% difference in buying/selling prices. Do commonly traded items. Figure out what's the lowest you can buy it for quickly, then figure out how much people buy for instantly and do a little above that.
