How do you overcome the challenge to learn a language?

In order to overcome the challenge of learning a language. First you have to learn which language are you going to learn. Since there are languages that can be easily understood (English, Filipino and Spanish). You should know first the place that you are staying to (example Japan) in order to prepare yourself in the learning process. Second, is Studying. Studying Foreign Languages is the next step if you are living in a foreign country. Knowing not only the language itself but the culture and their lifestyle. Lastly, is Patience. I know studying is too hard for us, but in order to be a citizen of a foreign country, you should have patience to study and learn.

I think you should consider first Patience and Eagerness to learn. You better think why you wanna learn this language? Do I really have the will to learn this new thing? You better check your self first before learning new things. Patience? In everything we do, we need patience to do it successfully. We all know that learning new things and unfamiliar things for us is not that easy, especially learning different language. You need to learn grammars and how to say or deliver it properly.

learning a language is not an easy task , you need a lot of hard work and never give up .you cannot do that in one or two days time , you need to practice with those experts. Your ability in speaking and writing in the language you want depends on how long you practicing it .

Yes i do agree with you if we want to learn language you must need to be stronge and be Patience all time otherwise you will not able to do it.

I guess you need to set your mind that you really want to learn the language. It needs determination, hard work and Patient. Also, willingness to adapt change and criticism. Learning language is not easy as you need to spend time studying about it. I always wanted to learn new language as well. I can speak 5 different languages fluently but i want to learn Foreign language like Spanish or French. Then, you need to set a goal or time frame , in doing so you will have an inspiration to hit it. Good luck.

I think your mentally preparation is the most important things to learn a language.how much you are addicted about the language which you want to learn.
if you are addicted too much then u will learn it.

I can speak 5 different languages fluently but i want to learn Foreign language like Spanish or French.

WOW! My Congrats speedy as you speak 5 languages fluently. I can hardly speak 2 foreign languages but i improve slowly but surely... :Wink:

i think im naturally good at learning languages or something, learned french in about a year and a half and know it pretttty well.

base language is english.

I admire those people who know different languages! I think a lot of patient,focus and determination are the keys in learning new language. It isnt that easy. But just like the saying goes..practice makes perfect.

i think it is depend upon your situation if you are in different country you are trying to learn there local language and mainly you have to learn english

Actually when ever we want to learn something then it is our duty to learn it properly.
there are lot's of people are like they learn half English half french and many more,i hate them,

To me it's patience and strong desire mainly. You also have to "live" the language, and be in contact through the internet, or in real life to really master it.
