Earning Money from your Blog
Everybody wants to earn a little extra cash. That’s no secret. Now, not everybody has the patience and determination to do it. It’s not hard but it seems impossible at the beginning.
Here’s what you will need:
-A blog
-Affiliate programs
-Traffic
Getting a Blog:
Getting a blog is a really simple process. I recommend using Wordpress, with which you can manage your blog in a fast and easy way. You could use Wordpress either using its hosting service or it’s management tool with any other hosting service. You could also use Blogger, etc.
Content:
This is the tricky part. Adding content isn’t easy as it sounds. It’s not just about filling the page with random information about you or you found anywhere. It’s about picking something you’re really good at and sticking to it. This is called a “niche†it’s like a blog’s category. Content always has to be related to the niche you choose. If you do find a niche you’re passionate at it will be much easier.
PPC (Paid to Click)/ Affiliate Programs:
This is how you will earn money.
PPC programs pay you per click once you’ve placed their ad in your site (blog). There are many options for this programs but the most recognized and well known for their pay rates and others are:
-Google Adsense
-Chitika
Affiliate programs are also a great way. They will pay you for referring people when they buy/register your affiliate’s product/site. Here’s a list of well known affiliates:
-Amazon
-EBay
-Clickbank
-Commission Junction
Traffic:
This is actually the hardest part. You will need to learn a little bit of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and update your content very often. You’ll have to be careful with your keywords and try advertising your site everywhere. Advertising is not that easy but I won’t get into that in this guide.
After all this, you will have a very decent blog in which you will start earning a little extra money. Once you have advertised it well you will have a decent traffic and your income could stop being so little! Some people make $2000-$3000 per month just for having one blog!! Go ahead and try.
