Hello ForumKorner, today i am going to show you how to turn on or turn off your alerts, this is mainly for the newer members but if some of the casual users don't know how to do it, this is for you too.
Activating alerts will let you know when someone has done either of the following:
The first step to turning on your alerts is going to your user CP which is located along side the "User CP" button. In the below screenshot you will see my alerts currently have (0).
Step Two
Once you are in the User CP, down the left hand side of the page you will see the "Menu" tab. Within the "Menu" tab you will see this:
Click the link that says "Alert Settings"
Step Three
Step three being the final step to having your alert options enabled/disabled, you will be able to check whichever box you see fit. If you want to receive a alert for any of the 5 settings that is listed all you have to do is tick the box and click "Save Settings".
If you are unsure about the ticking process you will find by having the box "Ticked" that will enable you to receive a alert for that specific notification.

- Receive a alert for a reputation message/modification.
- Receive a alert for a Private Message.
- Receive a alert when being added to a buddylist.
- Receive a alert when quoted in a post.
- Receive alert when somebody replies to your thread.
