Megaman.EXE said:I was wondering the same thing right now too, would it ruin my mage pure if I had Lv.40 defense to use Vambs?
Fast Don said:At the moment I'm 60 attack / 60 strength / 55 hp / 11 prayer / 69 magic. If I get range up to 40 (to wear green d'hide), will that ruin my pure in the long run? I haven't played in a while so it's hard for me to remember things.
Dykerosoft said:No, if you have melee stats your ranged and magic levels will not effect your combat level as much.
Say you have:
60 attack
99 strength
1 defense
whatever HP
40 range
99 mage
Neither range, nor mage will effect your end-game combat level.
Megaman.EXE said:With Lv.80 Mage? I wouldn't think so, since a majority of your CB level is based off of Mage, I wouldn't expect it to change much getting range up to 40. Aren't there some Pure Mage/Range hybrids as well?
Fast Don said:Well at my current stats, I am 54 cmb and wouldn't level up in cmb until I hit 82 mage. But yeah, Dykerosoft cleared things up for me.
Dykerosoft said:Really? I am 53 combat with:
60 attack
60 strength
1 defense
70 mage (need an alcher/stun-alcher to level up more)
:3
Fast Don said:I forgot to mention that I'm 11 pray. I did the pre-requisites (which solely got me to level 11 pray) to get into the Experiments cave to train attack and strength. But that doesn't bother me, I think I'll be getting 52 prayer eventually.
Stats:
60 Attack
60 Strength
1 Defense
11 Prayer
71 Magic
1 Range
Fast Don said:I'm not sure what the "name" of the pure I'm making.
For example:
70 Attack
99 Strength
1 Defense
52 Prayer
94 Magic
40-?? Range (Not sure when to stop)
Is that considered a hybrid? Are they any good for PKing still? I keep hearing about new names like Zerker pure, Turmoil pure, etc. What would be the best in your opinion?
Dykerosoft said:TurmZerkers are one of the best builds, but you need a lot of cash to get it there.
The stats are:
70-75 attack
99 strength
95 prayer
94 mage
whatever range
