youd go to the upload section and insert that link and it would upload the audio to the site

You cannot get free legal song downloads or movie downloads. If you can get them legally, then song producers can't earn anything as you are not paying them anything.

The only way to get free song downloads is if you get advertiser/ advertising supported free music downloads. However, there isn't currently one available due to liabilities issues.
