How to Get Rid of Spam Messages

I've been receiving spam messages in my email. Although I use the filtering option which automatically directs these messages to the spam folder, I still find them annoying because I have to constantly empty the folder to delete them. Is there any way to completely stop these message from coming to my email or I simply have to bear with such?

I think there would be a block button which block that particular sender to send that msg. If there is no such button then I dont know.

Yea. You could simply blacklist the sender. As a precaution, while giving out your mail to others or posting it somewhere, always use [dot] and [at] instead of . and @ For example: blablabla[at]mailinator[dot]com
That'll help somewhat. Mail address grabbers won't be grabbing 'em, I guess. I read about it somewhere.

I'm also listening full ears because I have 6000spam email in my yahoo account...... Hard to find my email when I activation email when I join a forum.

I know you can set the contacts you want to get mail from and contacts you dont want.
for example sgfdf@sdgsd.dfg is spamming you.
you can just set ths eamil to spammer one and you are done no more mail from him
