How to hide text

Hello all,

In this tutorial i'm going to learn you how you can hide texts easy..
Like if you want to save passwords, but you wan't people to be able to open like
pass.txt..

I'll explain it to you, it's really easy..

1. Open notepad
(i guess everyone can do this?)
2. Enter your text in it, that you want to hide.
3. Saving it in this way:
save as
now you'll see somewhere at the bottom .txt, select it and choose all files
now enter a name like program.exe or something or jpeg, png (extensions used allot)
When you saved it, you won't be able to open the program or image, because it only has some text in it, people probably just think it got damaged.

How to open it again?
1. Open notepad
2. File >> Open
3. Change .txt into All Files
4. Open the file


I know this tutorial isn't perfect, but maybe some people can use it?

There are probably better ways to do this, but this is the easiest way to do this, without any programs needed =)

Errm... although this could work with meagre kids that are unaware of tech and computers but I don't think it'll work every time....

Thanks for sharing this with us but I think that everybody who knows his way around a computer knows how to open it easily so it's not a 100% secure way.
