How to increase gaming performance

(I've only tested this out on Minecraft)

Hello there, this program can increase you're gaming performance and get higher FPS and more smoother games.

Firstly download a program called "Game Booster" It's a nifty little program that doesn't half get the job done. You can download it here - Click me!

The reason this program is so "good" is, that it stops useless services and can perform some small handy operations that could give you're gameplay a better experience. I really recommend it if you're getting frustrated over low FPS.

That's all for now - Thanks

Thanks, I'll probably try and make this into more of a multi functional thread, where it's got all different useful gaming programs.

I tried this before, but it didn't make a difference. It might have improved quite a bit since that has occurred, though.

Possible, it seemed to have done a huge effect on my FPS and increased it by quite a lot.

I used it on my previous Laptop, it did increase performance when playing games but I found that it increased my start-up time by around 20 seconds, other than that its very useful for people with lower spec laptops/desktops.

The gaming computer I'm going to get has 24GB of RAM and a hexacore i7 processor so I shouldn't have any problems with this but thanks :D.

I really don't care if it's overkill, I love taking things too far!

That. Can be taken in several disturbing ways.

i7 970 looks nice, I'm putting a nice 960 in my computer that I'm building.
Also, I bet you could handle Minecraft like a beast with 24GB of RAM.
12 should be just fine for me.

Really, this laptop only has 3GB and it only lags when first loading.

The computer is also built with 2 SSDs in RAID 0 and bootdrive and 4 2TB WD HDDs in RAID 5. :D I love it!
