[How To] Install IPB Skins

How to:

1) Log into your ACP and go to 'Look & Feel' > 'Look & Feel' > 'Manage Skins Sets & Templates'.



2) Click on .
Once on the 'Skin Import/Export' page, you will need to do 2 things.

1. Import the skin set
2. Import the images set

3) Click on and find your skin set files.



The file will either be in a .xml file format or a .rar file format. It's not necessary for you to extract the .rar file, but you can if you wish.

4) Name your skin and click .

5) Click on and find your skin set files.



6) Name your image set and click .


7) To make this skin visible to the community, go to 'Look & Feel' > 'Look & Feel' > 'Manage Skins Sets & Templates'

Where it says next to your skin 'HIDDEN'.



Click that and it will turn into 'VISIBLE'.



8) Optional. To make a skin the default community skin, go click on the drop-down box near the skin name. Then click on 'Edit Settings'.



There will be a check-box saying 'Make this the default skin?'. If you want to make it the default, check the box.
Click on and you're done.
