A simple tutorial on how to install MyBB plug-ins.
I will be using the 'Profile Comments' plug-in for this tutorial.
How to:
1) Open up your FTP and connect to your website.
2) Go into the plug-in folder that you downloaded. There should be a folder named 'Upload'. Double click it.
3) Depending on your plug-in, there will be a few folders in your 'Upload' folder, and possibly some files.
4) Upload any files that aren't in folders into the default directory you're using.
5) Once done with that, go into the other folders and upload them into each of their rightful directories.
6) Once done with that, go into your ACP. On the left side of your screen, under 'Quick Access', click on 'Plug-ins'.
7) Your plug-in should be listed on there. Click on 'Install & Activate'.
8) Once done, you should get this message:
9) Optional. If you wish, you may change the settings. To do so, on the left side of your screen, click on 'Settings' when on the 'Configuration' tab.
Result:
That is all. Enjoy.
