Upload a filtered picture and then delete it again.

For if you ever need to contact instagram to get it back. They ask for an unfiltered version of a photo uploaded.

really? lets say i have a normal pic, then made it black and white in photoshop would that work? simplest filter, if you know what i mean.

I'm not sure, i've only had to do it once. The picture that i uploaded to the account was on google, so i got lucky there.

It's a recovery method. Family visiting is going on longer than I thought.

If I had any account taken from me I could get it back. All you need is to save all of the information down and keep a picture. You'll get it back in 2 days no matter what.

If you do this correctly the account will basically be on a fresh accout and Instagram will see you as the only IP and login.
