How to make a WoW private server 3.3.5 ArcEmu:
Guide Written By Tydronash.
Programs you will need:
World of Warcraft
HeidiSQL
Corruption Productions Blizzpack (Server Repack)
Visual C++
.NET Framework 4.0
Steps:
1. Download all the files provided above.
2. Unzip the Repack into one of your hard drives.
3. In your Repack folder goto Tools then into Map Extractor.
4. Copy these 2 files:
5. Paste them in your WoW folder:
6. Run ad.exe, should take about 45 mins to complete:
7. Set your realmlist (in your WoW folder /Data/enUS/realmlist.wtf) to 127.0.0.1 then save and exit:
8. Now copy maps again (maps, not ad.exe):
9. Paste it into your ArcEmu (ArcEmu is in your Repack folder) folder this time:
10. Run MySQL in the Server folder (Server is in your Repack folder):
11. Open HeidiSQL, name the DB whatever you want, your details are:
Hostname: localhost
User: root
Pass: ascent
Network Type: TCP/IP
IMPORTANT: MAKE SURE YOU HAVE IT ON PORT 3306!
12. Once in your database, goto logon, then accounts, then click Data up the top, it will show all your accounts you have created, you can edit the first one to whatever you like, or just create a new account. I had to blank out those passwords, because they were the passwords I use for everything.
To make someone admin put this under their GM tab: az
To make someone GM put this under their GM tab: gm
13. Ok, now you can close HeidiSQL, but still keep MySQL open:
14. Now goto into your ArcEmu folder then, into your Configs folder (configs is in your ArcEmu folder), then open realms.conf, scroll down to the bottom and change the highlighted text to what you want you realm to be called:
15. Optional.conf and world.conf are just your settings in game, so like instant 80 and stuff, and what level players will be able to reach, and what the server rates are (500x, etc.) We won't go over that, it's pretty easy to do:
16. Now go back into your ArcEmu folder and run arcemu-logonserver, then wait for it to say "Success ready for connections!" then run arcemu-world.
17. Then just start up WoW!
