So technically staff and moderators and trusted members, I do not recommend using user members no matter how legit they look or how many vouches they have. Notice how he changed his name back to Penguin so he could scam people before he got banned by Philly.Now lets get in to people that try to simply social engineer you to go first or not use a middle man they will say things like "Dude I have to go soon can we just do the deal" or "Dude if I scam just call in a UA". Well calling in a UA will work to get the account back but we wouldn't want to do that which is a hassle and not worth the time. Now into securing the account now when you get the account first thing you always do is change the password and change WLID(If possible/Optional) And add alternate emails and alternate phone numbers so If they try to sign on you can do a simple reset link if anything is changed, now we are on to billing info(Very important) changing the billing information is a key part of securing your Xbox account from getting stolen, now I will say using your real billing information my not be in the best interest because you can be doxed very easily and they could fill out a reset form and take your Xbox account now I would use information like a address of a friend or family member so the address is harder to dox. Lastly turbo protection if you do not want to be turboed after purchase I would wait 3-4 days to try to swap to a different account.
Youtubes!
Now on to Youtubes these are easily vulnerable to jacking/scamming so this means 2 step process needs to be on and have a secure password, so passwords like swagger102,yolo109,snapbacks101 will be very easy to guess now I recommend using passwords with symbols like these @#$&*(^!%)+_-?"} now using things like these and words that are sacred to you could make a very secure password and protected from brute force. Now after you gotten a Youtube from a deal I always recommend swapping the Gmail this is the process of connecting a new Gmail over to your Youtube username so they can not try to recover your Youtube after purchase/trade.
AIMs!
Now to aims first thing is to change the password and SQ now after doing this you should always change the birthdate and contact email so they cannot recover your AIM but the middle man should do that for you!
Twitters!
