How to Portforward for Dlink DIR-655

Ok some people are having issues with portforwarding the router Dlink-DIR 655
1. Enter your ip as in 192.168.0.1 into a web browser and log in
2. Go to Advanced
3. Then Virtual Server
4. In the boxes type in your ip address then the port you want to open under port box and in the protocol box select both
5. Enter a name in the name box
6. tick the side box
7. Save all and restart router
8. There you have it you have portforwarded

nice short list makes it easy and accessible to follow the directions. i wish more people would post there ideas this way. :Y

Do you have any ideas about how to portforward netgear routers? Mine has proven impossible to get working so far.

there are many programs for to this thing .. because i have done this thing with a software , correct me if i am wrong.

Apparently you can't for this.Theres a problem with this model of dlink.
For portforwarding, there are two sections in the dlink website, you can either use virtual server or portfowarding.i tried the portfowarding but it doesn't work.To portforward you have to use the one in the virtual server.

I've been doing this for years and years, I've found out that it won't be necessary to restart your router.. You just click save and leave the page.

Its a guide to teach others how to portforward this model of dlink.Realised lots of people had problems with it.
