this is a very simple guild to tell you how to make sure you dont get scammed
how to tell:
1. you recive the email more then once in a hour
2. they say "dear player" "dear sir/madam"
3. it goes to a external link other then there website
4. Spelling mistakes
how to know if its legit:
1.
if its legit and that is to look at the name if its a real one it reads there database and put your REAL name or USERNAME big copanys like runescape will always put "dear $user_name in there email what will put your runescape usename
2. READ the email there is always a spelling mistake in phishers where people might have acidently press a key they dont want to when typing
3. ask your friends, if they have recived the same email it has a very high chance of being fake!
How to have fun:
on the phishers the username box hasnt got a charatar limit so this is another way to tell
I always copy and past a famous quote in mine that always gives me the gigles.
anyway
have fun! and READ your emails!
