Click Control Panel > Add or remove programs > wait for the list to load and find Norton. Click Remove And you should be able to uninstall from your computer.

According to me, First of all which os you are using. If you using Windows xp then go to the control panel and remove it from add/remove programs. If its not working then going to DOS prom and delete the antivirus. I am sure that it will delete.

If the following comments dont work, try - deleting the Eset Nod32 folder and any trace of it in the Windows search. Then delete the registry files (regedit) of Eset Nod32 so there was no trace of this program ever being on your computer.

After you get rid of all of that, if you don't want avast, I would suggest myself that you get the free version of AVG. Its free and effective. It doesn't protect you against EVERYTHING, but it helps, and its free and easy to use.

But Avast protects you from pretty much everything, even the new 2012 Win 7 Virus.
