Hey everyone, I notice a lot of people don't use claws right when they PvP or PvM so I thought I'd go into detail about how exactly to use them.
While in Wilderness
1v1:
- Never wield claws if your not rushing, it's a big attraction for those magers and people who can beat you flawlessly. Always have a secondary weapon, weather it be shit or not.
- you can right click your claws than press f5 it is for a faster switch to special
- Super attack potions are very useful, as it is your first hit that always counts, and you often only get one chance.
-Vengeance (Lunar Spellbook) is a huge advantage for preparing your spec. as it raises the success rate of you killing that person.
- Always have prayer pots when using prayer. They are a necessity when using claws because Smite can break down your prayer very fast.
- Use ultimate strength if you can, it's a huge advantage.
- The best time to spec is after you've hit fairly well with another weapon. The person often does not expect the claws unless they know you have them
- It's important to keep your claws in secrecy unless your looking for a quick fight
Multi:
-Have plenty of prayer pots encase you get piled or tb'd.
- If you are being chased by multiple targets, try to log out first, then eat and try again (only needed if tb'd)
- Vengeance (Lunar Spellbook) is a huge advantage for picking of individual players
-Use your claws on the user with the least armor, as that is their only weakness for your weapon.
PVM:
- The best times to use claws are when your in desperate need of a couple rips of hitpoints. you can often severely damage a monster with this powerful weapon.
- Pray pots are not needed for this unless you want to keep more than 3 items.
