HQ Post Count

Ok the idea is for every person to have a hq post count on their profile. Let's say there is some random thread and I post something really HQ then like a onyx or staff member can click a button on the post that will mark it as HQ and it will add to a person HQ count. Just a thought I had, let me know what you guys think.

Not a bad idea. I honestly kinda like it. However its basically the same thing as a like or thanks system. Just instead of it saying like or thanks it would say HQ meter or something. It would for sure be abused though. Keeping this thread open for others opinions.

IMHO it will be easily abused. Then we will need a dislike and like report button and things will get hectic. MLG forums failed with this idea and I feel the same thing will happen here. If philly could find omni's prestige formula or at the very least make one of his own that would serve as a much better "HQ meter".

I see what you are say but Actually I came up with a even better addition to the idea, in my opinion of course, Philly could appoint maybe five or so members that would handle the distribution of HQ "points" that way nobody could abuse it cause there is only a few people who could give out these points.

This makes a lot of sense but would there also be LQ points? Perhaps if staff has the ability to +HQ or -LQ a post it could be a good idea. That way while we are reading we can give out a point based on that. Also anything not rated would be by definition a NQ post
