HUD google glasses

Google are currently working on some glasses that have a HUD (Heads Up Display) a bit like the one in terminator and are rumored to look like the Oakley MP3 thumps :

They are based on old Android smart phone technologies and might have specs similar to these 1GHz ARM A8, 256MB RAM and 8GB of storage.
The navigation system currently used is a head tilting to scroll and click apparently it is very quick to learn and once the user is adept at navigation it becomes second nature and almost indistinguishable to outside users.
The HUD is only going to be in one lens (don't know if it is left, right or user defined yet).

They will probably be released on a public beta test soon

I cant wait to see someone nodding their head trying to scroll xD
Aslong as the glasses are comfy, they should be cool.
What would you do on them anyway?

im not sure but they do have a buit in camera (maybe 4 megapixels) with flash so you can take photos and probably call or text people, they also have a speach recocnition system that talks back to you wich might be cool

I can imagine people crashing their cars or walking into people lol

well I think its a normal clear or sunglass type lens with just a small HUD on the outer side of the lens a bit like what fighter pilots have in their jets but all on one side

Also it would be an effort to focus on something so close.
Maybe they would have to purposely off focus it so it looks focused up close.

yer probably but im not to sure because only so much info has been released and most of this thread is based on rumors
