Lol, that was what i was going to post but it would have been OFFtopic.

But if you are on a serious budget, i would get something simple off ebay. It may not play games max setting but should play the game.

I would get something like $400 and it should be able to play most games (not like crysis and modern warfare 2 though :p)

I disagree.
Yes, Dell does make fantastic computers that last literally forever.
BUT
Dell, in my opinion, is SHIT when it comes to gaming.
I played MW2 on my friend's laptop which has very similar specs to mine, only slight different is that mine is AMD and his is Intel. Other than that, same processor speed, RAM, video card, etc.

I have an HP, he has a Dell.
Ran smoothly on mine.
Was choppy as fuck on his.
 
YES!!! GET A MAC! I switched from a PC to a MAC and it is the best thing I have ever done :D
 
How about you just up-grade some stuff on your desktop now? It may save you some money, instead of buying all new. If not, wait till after your Bday, sell your computer you have now, and head to newegg. :)
 
I will never get a mac aslong as i live. unless of course someone gives me one for free.

HP's look good. Might try going for one of those.

ATM, i have a Dell Studio Laptop 1737.

Great for everyday computing but horrible for newer games.
 
Macs are expensive and aren't really good for anything but looking good.

I disagree.
A friend of mine has a Macbook that at first he bought for school use only.
He then installed two OS's on it.
Windows XP, and ofcourse, Mac OSX.

On the XP, he can play ANY high-graphics game perfectly fine with no lag. MW2, Assassins Creed, and many more.

They are GREAT computers in my opinion.
 
So he bought a Mac that can dual boot? Or did he just VM ware it.
 
I know but some Mac's are gay, and they just don't let you do that -_-

Lol. I'm not interested in any Apple related products unless its my ipod nano 3g or my ipod touch 2g.
as for dell, they have so many great deals going on throughout the year.
there was one deal that it was 450$ for a 20 inch monitor with win7/1tb harddrive/4gb ram.
Great deal. too bad i didn't have enough money.

HP - My friend said they have great computers but aren't really different from Dells..

Still open for more suggestions everyone.
 
Well, i just missed out on a computer going for $450 dollars with very nice specs.

I would use e-Bay.

I just saw some really good deals.
