I hope this is aloud, and if not then I guess I'm going to get warned but. http://runerevolution.net/member.php?action=profile&uid=160
He's made many helpful/interesting batches just for kicks and made me one on request that'll help me sort my 12k rs emails.
It is arrogant to say batch is not advanced. Batch is a extremely powerful language. In fact, it can do everything CMD can do. You can use it to build anything from a simple "Hello World" application to a ping spammer. Batch can do unimaginable things. Worms can be created with batch, and so can keyloggers.
Every language is 'advanced'. You call advanced (or not) what you make with them.
You can't call advanced making a "Hello World" application in C++, since it would only be a messagebox.

You can't really call batch 'advanced'. But he shared some nice sources. ^^

ON TOPIC:
I don't really think he deserves it, everyone would like that award, but he hasn't made something really advanced or awesome in batch to get the award.
Just my opinion.
