I think I know why Jagex brought back Wilderness and Free Trade

I think Jagex brought back Wilderness and Free Trade because they were losing a lot of players every month. They were even on the god damn Guinness World Records, so I'm assuming that they would do anything to prevent loss of players. I think console gaming is currently dominating computer gaming and that's why they're losing players.

Any thoughts on this?

Actually, this could be right .. but the thought of pking and free trade, it's a big jump. I think they've finally decided to listen to their players for once.

I've thought this once, I guess it is why JaGeX brought the Wilderness and Free Trade back.

I think its because they were going to follow what the members wants.

Notice how they're adding a feature to pay for your account to be unbanned + they've taken added a filter to profanity + they're doing so many updates to get more money on runescape.

They weren't loosing any money, they just wanted more. This has been in their business plan ever since the wilderness was created.

exactly lol, the only reason they wanted the players back and "listened" is because they were losing money lol

Jagex noticed how they got more money with RWT back in 2007 and before than at the stage where there was no Wildy or Free Trade. They were losing players every day.

Personally I feel like it was a good move on their part. The fact that PK is actually fun, it would bring in more players, old and new. RWT will of course commence again, which I'm sure they anticipate, but hey what more can they do? They'll still get more money, with all new member subscriptions.
