Alright.
So.

A person is rich, cool. But why the FUCK do they insist on flexing on an internet forum filled with little kids?  Whooo cares?

(this is not towards anyone in particular btw)

I find it amusing.

Your thoughts?

Say you have a million dollars, why would you hide that you have money? Unless you're trying to meet a girl and don't want a gold digger.

I would hide it. Maybe I'm different.
I certainly don't like having a bunch of fakes and people who just pretend to be your friend all over my dong.

As long as the person isn't asking for money/making you buy them things then they're a real friend.
Some people won't ask for things for a while and sometimes you can buy your friends things of course, but if it's repetitive then tell them to f off.

I'm actually with Emp on this one @rare

You'd be surprised how many people will play the friend card for a very long time, and then take your shit. I know from experience.

That's because when they ask for things you just gotta be straight up with them. If you don't wanna give someone something and not feel bad you just have to say no, it's a very strong word.

Actually it would be better off just to say you didn't have any money, thus hiding it. I had a friend of 5 years who knew I had money who ended up robbing it, so it's not 'yes' or 'no'. Hiding it is better by far. You do realize there's people that kill people over chump change? Hiding your wealth is beneficial in every aspect honestly.

You can tell if people want to be your friends because of money. Say you start flexing the lotto money you just won, multiple people are like, "Hey, how you been?" it's obvious they're fake af.

Why would you willingly tell people you have X Million dollars? That's just stupid and you're setting yourself up for the 'fakes' honestly. Family could be an exception.

Saying you have no money or not a lot of money, would yield far better results for getting real friends. Why does money have to be in the picture at all?

You act like you don't have friends before the money, honestly all you need is like 3 close friends which almost everyone has. I'd just block out everyone but those 3 and family lmao.

And? Since when are the friends before the money entitled to know how much you have? You don't just go up to a person and ask them how much money do you have or how much do you make in a year. It's none of their business.

Yes they obviously don't know that, if you're looking to make new friends you keep it on the low. But if all your Benjamin's are your friends then you're good.

That's exactly my point. Refer to your first post on this thread, then read this one.
