Ignore List Notification

Don't you think we should make it to where every time someone adds you to their ignore list, you can see through an alert like when you're added to a buddy list which I see as kind of pointless in the first place?

Furthermore, I'm always curious who has me on theirs.

I like the idea.

Buddies list i can see it happening, It could make people closer between each other on the Forum and to see who actually likes you to that degree.

As for Ignore list, It would be pointless and cause Havoc between the 2 members.

"Why did you add me to your Ignore list?"

It would activate spam and hatred on the Forum/SMs

I wasn't suggesting a notification for a buddy list add, that's already implemented I implied.

Ignore list hasn't been yet, and maybe would be the nice thing to do, PM them about the issue. That isn't causing spam or hatred as it's private.

I would like to see it implemented, Yes keep it to Private message.

I am pretty sure not one member has me on their ignore list.
I would be the same as you, Curious as to actually does have me on ignore. Same for you, Salvation.

You're on there, but that has nothing to do with our problem earlier. This is just discussion for it being added.

I'll need to see so much improvement from you to even remove your reputation first as opposed to seeing your posts.

I agree with Chill to an extent. Having a notification for people who add you to their ignore list would only encourage hatred, spam, forum drama, etc. We're better off without this suggestion being implemented.

Not if the person who ignores you is a nice person.

Again, it's through PM's...

If they're a nice person, why would they ignore you? And you wouldn't even be able to private message them if they have you ignored, if I remember correctly. This suggestion is pointless.

You're pointless.

PM'ing can be done by the person who ignored the user first, just did that with Chill before. Some have reasons for ignoring, Cannibal.

Why are you insulting me? I'm giving my opinion on the suggestion and as a forum we're suppose to give our input on these suggestions.

I was joking around with you.

But, seriously. I'm wrong, both parties can PM after a ignore from either one.

So we should implement this to encourage hatred?

There should not be hatred as long as both parties can use respect and maturity.

That's what our forum should be about right, you'd think? Well it's not and we both know that. Let's just give everyone a chance.

Lets think about this rationally, do you honestly think two people from our forum would ask each other via private message why one or the other put them on their ignore list while being respectful and mature? I highly doubt that, and even then, most of them would result in hatred towards another and more arguments.

That being said, it doesn't matter as nothing comes out on the actual forum. Everything is done via a PRIVATE, message. Once all the smoke clears out if you will, I believe a resolution will be met almost every time. You could be a disrespectful user like Chill and still find something in your heart to forgive for whatever cause you to add that person to your ignore list to begin with.

But it only encourages hatred and there's nothing positive in the result of it, despite it satisfying your curiosity. Good example of this situation would be the popular saying "Curiosity killed the cat.".

I see no point in this. For adding people as a buddy I see it's a good idea, but as ignore, nope.
