The main thing I got from the article is that hatred is pointless, which is 100% true in my mind at least.

There's nothing wrong with being gay. The mum is just narrow minded.

I hate militant Aetheists. I also hate obnoxious Christians. There have been studdies that prove that being gay can be a result from genetics.

Also, I think so many Christians are hypocrits. Homosexuality is shunned upon in their eyes, yet slavery isn't. But the fact is, they're both majoritively in the old testement; Leviticus. If you say to a Christian "Do you believe in slavery?", they'll reply "Nahh thats the old testement". But when it comes to homosexuality "FaGGoTzZZ BURN IN HELL".

Willing to forgive all of mankind for rape, murder, adultery, theft. But not willing to forgive Eve for eating an apple. Creates rules for bronze-age desert tribe. They apply to everyone everywhere, always.

Just is really illogical to me.

I don't care being with gays as long as they don't do their stuff in front of me... Unless they are women.
I've never been with a gay/lesbian person in my life, just some girls that act like boys (like playing 'hardcore' videogames etc) and some boys that like to do some women stuff (playing with barbies...)
I simply don't care about people being gay, they don't bother me, I don't bother them.
That's just what I think.

I don't understand why people chose to go with a dogma that one group is imposing on others without thinking about it for themselves or without asking why they should do it. People that just let a group or religion dictate how they live their lives should be sent to a volcano to be tossed in or something along those lines. All they do is give power to people who are full of hatred and loathing for people who are different than themselves, its infuriating really to see all the ridiculous number of people in this world who chose to participate in hatred of people or ideas that they don't know or understand simply because its not what they think.

Why? Thats like removing womens right to vote? Heaps of kids have been adopted by gay couples and have lived normal lives.

I would imagine that the kids would get so much shit for being adopted by gay parents as they grow up in a normal life + school.

In the long run.. And maybe the long run being a couple of hundred million years, but there are more straight people than gays, which means that countries aren't getting weaker..

But you have to keep in mind how the kids' peers feel about the kid being adopted by gay parents. If I was in that situation, I can't imagine going to school with everyone knowing that I have gay parents. I think that the kid should have a say in this matter.

I know that we do that with religion but hey, this world has a lot to improve on.

Im Catholic but I believe this, Humans that are gay have the right to choose what they want to be. If they bother me than ill have a problem. They do have the right to adopt kids, but I dislike if they try to make them gay also. If they don't kiss in public I wont have a problem. If they do there show there intimacy in public, I would flip out.

Yeah, I know what you mean Wubstep and if the kid is old enough, ofcourse they have a choice. It's quite retarded how young kids bully other kids who's parents are gay. Why do they bully them? Does it make you a terrible person if you have 2 dads? If they never knew then it wouldn't bother them but apparently it makes the kid inferior.

They wouldn't try and make the child gay, but clearly the kid would have a high chance of becoming gay if they're adopted early due to the social interaction with their parents. Why would you flip out if they show their intimacy? I don't really get how that bothers you personally other than your beliefs. Sure, if they tried to come up and kiss you or something, I get that. But yer.
