I don't know that anyone can or should influence your belief in regards to religion.
It is wrong in every sense of the action. (Unless you were following a religion that was completely disprovable/disprovable beyond most doubt.)

If you're close to being an atheist there is no hope of you staying Christian. Come over to our side, we like people. I suggest, however, you watch video pertaining to your belief, it's what deconverted me...

I've gone to church every sunday for my whole life. Reading the bible and listening to christians talk made me realize how ignorant they are, and how there is NO proof.

I don't see what your point is, and what you've said in this thread has led me to believe that you're the ignorant one.
- When countered with the fact that you said the bible made you less of a Christian believe, your retort was "Reading the bible [...] made me realize how ignorant they are[...]". Do you understand that prejudice makes you look ignorant?

- "how there is NO proof" - Do you understand the meaning of the word faith? You don't believe that a god is real, because someone has proved to you that the god is real. You believe because you have faith in your judgment and trust in your own mind.


The Christian Bible is the definition of everything that a Christian is/or should aspire to be. If reading it made you think that there was no god, then you were obviously lying to yourself.

The whole point of that little story was that a man stuck in the darkness of a cell wrote that on the wall, during WW2. That little story shows faith.

No one can prove to you that God exist. Honestly no one can prove to you that anything exist. No one can prove to you that the sun, moon, or stars are real. You believe that air is there, but you can't see it or feel it. You just believe what a scientist tells you about it and that it exists. You have FAITH in that scientist(s).

I believe in God for my own reasons, I believe the 10 commandments are a good set of rules to live by. I can't force you to be a Christian, and no one here can force you to believe otherwise, it's up to you. If you are going to try and base your belief on what can be proven and pure numbers and logistics, then believe in God. I find it a lot easier to believe that He created everything, then some of the stuff that scientist have come up with. The friction theory for our galaxy coming about? If you look at it from statistics, the chance of it happening is "zero".

Right now you could be trapped in your own mind. Forced into an experiment to test the human brain. You could be in a dream. You could be in a heaven that makes the person see a world generated in their own mind.

I'm not saying that those are true, or likely, but you shouldn't try so hard to insult people.

How is it testable? Testing for air is science. It's been tested...BY SCIENTIST, that's why you believe it.

But Provenance is right, stop being ignorant and insulting me for no obvious reason. You gave no valid argument to my statement. Just proved your insecurity by insulting me for no reason.

For all you know we could be in a matrix scenario right now. Do i believe that? No, but there is no way of proving that space exist.

Ever heard of the conspiracy that we didn't really land in the moon, that it was a Hollywood joke? Imagine what they can do with movies and photos, then try and come up with a logical answer to that. One that doesn't involve childish insulting or cussing like a lot of your responses to my arguments on this site have been.
